Sean M. Callahan, MD – Biography
Sean M. Callahan, MD is a board-certified otolaryngologist at Fort Worth ENT & Sinus. Dr. Callahan performs surgery in all aspects of otolaryngology including pediatric ENT/Sinus, otology, rhinology, and sinus surgery, head and neck cancer surgery, salivary gland surgery, thyroid and parathyroid surgery, reconstructive and facial plastic surgery, trauma, laryngology, allergy, and sleep medicine.
Dr. Callahan completed his otolaryngology residency training at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas in 2012. He was Board Certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology in 2013. He grew up in the Lewisville/Highland Village area of North Dallas and is a graduate of Flower Mound Marcus High School. After graduating summa cum laude from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth in 2002, he attended UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas for medical school and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. After obtaining his medical degree in 2007, Dr. Callahan continued an internship in general surgery and residency in Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. His training included service at Parkland Hospital, Zale-Lipshy Hospital, St. Paul Hospital, John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, the Veterans Affairs North Texas Medical Center, and Children’s Medical Center Dallas.
He is also active in several professional societies including the American Medical Association, Texas Medical Association, American Rhinologic Society, and the American Academy of Otolaryngology.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Callahan enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons. His family attends Holy Family Catholic Church in Fort Worth, Texas.

Interests
Family
I most enjoy spending time with my wife and two sons. Both of my boys are involved in a variety of sports, including tennis, soccer, baseball, and Tae Kwon Do. They are also involved in Scouting and we enjoy camping and other outdoor activities.
Church
My family and I are members of Holy Family Catholic Church in Fort Worth, Texas.
Sports
I was an avid soccer player growing up and played for the Dallas Texans select football club. I enjoy playing sports now with my two boys.
Travel
My family and I love to take the opportunity to travel. This past year, we traveled to Nicaragua, my wife’s native country. We have also taken several trips across the United States, most recently to Washington D.C., Chicago, San Francisco, Boston, and New York.
Outdoor Recreation
As an Eagle Scout, I have always enjoyed spending time among nature. I love high-adventure trips! I look for opportunities to go camping, hiking, or otherwise pass time outdoors.
