Sinus Disease
Sinusitis (inflammation of the sinuses) is the most common type of sinus disease. Many of the symptoms are similar to those of seasonal allergies or a common cold, however, the symptoms of chronic sinusitis can last for over 8 weeks.. The diagnosis of sinusitis is typically confirmed with a CT scan, nasal endoscopy, or both. The Fort Worth Sinus Center has an in-office CT scanner, which allows for same-day analysis of your sinus condition. The scan is done while sitting upright and only about 20 seconds.
